The International Erasmus Games 2017 are just around the corner! Represent Fribourg at the Swiss qualification in Lausanne and compete against the other Erasmus in 3 different sports: basketball, volley and football. The best teams will be sent to the international competitions in Porto (Portugal), where you will have the honour to represent Switzerland, your Erasmus country. So get your sport equipment ready and prepare yourself for the most incredible sport and team experience of your life!
The International Erasmus Games (IEG) 2017 edition will be held in 2 parts:
Weekend 25th / 26th of march 2017: Swiss IEG qualification in Lausanne
The 3 winning teams (1 for each sport) will be sent to the official IEG 2017 in Porto, Portugal!
18th - 21th of may 2017: 37 countries, 3 sports and around 400 Erasmus students all united together for this crazy sport weekend. If you made it until here - just enjoy! And let the Swiss delegation be the best delegation of course :)
The Swiss qualification for the IEG will be held in Lausanne. The Program is as followed:
- Arrival on Friday night / Saturday morning -> accommodation in the EPFL bunker
- Tournaments on Saturday: Football, volleyball and basketball
- Different animation throughout the day
- Party on Saturday night
- Finals on Sunday morning
The estimated participation fee for the weekend will be around 30 CHF and includes tournaments, animations, lunch, accommodation.
